Green smoothie


Starting my food blog like I wish I started each day, with a green smoothie!

We'll be honest here, there's no such thing as a smoothie recipe. Every time you make a smoothie it ends up being different and most of the time you just put the fruits and veggies you have at the moment. Same goes for this one, the ingredients are just for inspiration and for a good base, just have fun with it and make sure you include some greens!!

Ingredients

For 1 big smoothie

1 banana

1/3 cup of frozen mangoes

1/2 a cucumber

2 handful of greens (spinach, kale, lettuce...)

1 stalk of celery (or more, to taste)

1 tsp spirulina

1 tsp hemp seed or chia seed

1 cup of water

Steps

1. Blend it all together!

2. Poor it in your favorite glass, jar, mug, bowl.

3. Take a picture of it.

4. Drink it.

Note

You don't need a super fancy juicer or mixer for this, sure if you have one it's gonna make it easier and smoother but I've used a small hand mixer, a basic magic bullet and a food processor and they all worked fine.
